日本の国土面積の約7割を占めると言われる森林は、私たち日本人にとって生命の源と言えます。原初から木と共に文化を育んできた私たちには木は祈りを託す大切な対象だったことでしょう。

木の中にある神々を彫り出すように、その魂を感じながら木に向かう作家たちを御紹介したいと思います。

The woods are about 70% in the land of Japan and it is the root of our life. The trees has been the icon which are prayed for Japanese who has cultivated our traditional culture from our origin with the woods.
We will introduce the artists who feel the soul of trees when they carve.
